This beautiful tabletop mannequin would make a wonderful display piece.
Complete with what we believe to be the original modeling hat. It was very likely a store display.
It is sturdy yet lightweight, hollow, and made of a ceramic-like material.
Was intricately hand painted and has a great patina.
The piece is vintage, and while we cannot date it precisely, we believe it to be 1930s-1940s.
It measures
9” in width, 6” in depth, and 11” in height.
Comes with the displayed hat. Has no tags or markings inside and could use some cleaning.
Has a couple hairline cracks in the paint such as on the shoulder, nose, and lip.
The paint has cracked underneath the base as shown.
Wear is to be expected of a piece of this age and the p
aint may be worn more in some spots more than others.
