    Description

    For sale is a vintage nibbed 8 point handsaw, with a overall measurement of 24-1/2", with a 20-1/4" long plate, with widths varying from 2-3/16" at the toe, to 5-3/8" wide at the handle heel. Unbranded, it is in good overall condition, with no visible plate etching. The plate reinforced handle, aggressively signed with the previous owner's name, as shown in the last two{2} pictures, is sound and solid showing use and wear consistent with its age, as pictured. It has been gently cleaned, oiled, and waxed, with any necessary jointing, setting, and sharpening left up to you A beautiful early piece for display, use, or for part of your collection.
