  • Condition: There and four small stains on cushion. The lid is not flush to the box when closed. There is a gap near the hinge and the lid is slightly skewed relative to the box. There are small nicks and chips on the outer box. There is excess glue on one wood joint that is visible. A white mark is visible on the lower front and side of the box. The box does not sit flat when placed on a flat surface and can be rocked diagonally.

    Vintage handmade wooden hinged sewing box with cushion top.  The box is approximately 9" x 10.125" x 10" and weighs 5 lb 8.7 oz.
    There and four small stains on cushion.  The lid is not flush to the box when closed.  There is a gap near the hinge and the lid is slightly skewed relative to the box.  There are small nicks and chips on the outer box.  There is excess glue on one wood joint that is visible.  A white mark is visible on the lower front and side of the box.  The box does not sit flat when placed on a flat surface and can be rocked diagonally.
