Vintage Disston & Sons Philada Solid Wood Hand Saw Handle 4 rivets 1896 - 1917

Nice old hand saw handle for an old Disston saw from the first part of the last century. I don't know a lot about saws or their handles, get most of my information from the Disstonian Institute Web site and some other sites when I try to look up references for unfamiliar items. Disstonian indicates that the medallion was in use from 1896 - 1917. The handle shows wear, was cleaned (Murphy's Oil Soap only), is missing some wood by rivet below and forward of medallion, has white/silver paint overspray one front as shown. Pictures tell the story better than I can. Medallion measures 13/16" across. Handle measures 6-5/8" long, 5-1/4" tall, nearly 1" thick
