    Vintage Disston & Son No 7, 26” Straight Back Saw 1865-1871 7TPI INV11728
    Here we have a nice Disston & Son saw. I believe it is a No 8 though there are no numbers on the stamp. The handle appears to be apple but is a smart fella told me it was a No 7 I’d have to let him win.[ EDIT: I smart fella just told me it was a 7 - so there you are.] It dates to 1865-71 bearing the singular Son ending on both plate and medallion. The stamp is fairly strong and looks to be at or near full height. I haven't touched the teeth yet it is still fairly sharp.
