Vintage Barkcloth Knitting Basket, Pink & Turquoise Barkcloth Folding Bag Tote

This vintage knitting basket is made out of barkcloth. It has pink, turquoise and brown atomic style leaves on a light beige background with a turquoise lining. It is on a folding wood frame. Looks a little bit like a magazine rack.
This kitschy folding knitting bag was made sometime in the 1950s or early 1960s. It is retro fabulous.
This barkcloth knitting basket is in excellent vintage condition. It is clean but perhaps slightly dingy -- I believe the original background color was likely whiter. No odors. One decorative tack is a replacement and is brighter. The lining may appear to have dark stains but this is a leaf pattern on the fabric. No stains. No rips. Minor wear on the wood. It is not sturdy enough to hold books or magazines. Please use your zoom for a good look.
When open it is 14 1/4" long X 10 1/4" deep X 14 3/8" high.
The bag only is 12 1/2" long X 9" deep X 7 1/4" high.
