I am offering for sale this Vintage 9 TPI JN II Gunnis Skewback Lightweight Timber Framing Hand Saw Inv#JC18
This vintage skewback JN II. Gunnis saw is in clean & restored condition.
There is a visible etch on the blade that reads JN II. Gunnis 15 Steel
.
The handle that has a a few scars, but has cleaned up nicely.  It still has a nice feel and patina.
The saw overall measures a mere 22"L.  The 9 TPI blade measures: 3-3/4" W at heel x 1/2" W at tip. The medallion has " Warranted
Eagle Superior
" on it, and the brass has polished up nicely. Blade could use sharpening to get it back to optimal use. It has some pitting, rust & discoloration and dark spots but no dents or dings, It has a slight wiggle at tip (see photo).
It weighs only 10 oz.
It has a great feel when in your hand and a nice aged patina.
