Used. Comes in non-original packaging. This set is in Good cosmetic condition.  The Quality Control Checklist from when the particle counter was new lists laser power as just over 5.0mW - this seems like a reasonable *maximum* output power into the testing chamber.  We do NOT know the power output of this laser but assume it is well under a milliwatt. Note that the detector parts may have a label marked LPS-A-110-LN instead of -(2)-NS as shown.
Notes:
This set was removed from a decommissioned Particle Measuring Systems LPS-A-110 particle counter.  When power is applied to the input of the power supply, after a few seconds the tube lights up.  The main visible part of the tube lights a bright orange/red color. Under the "caution high voltage" cap there is a deep red color visible.  When the sensor is unbolted from the detector end, a dim red beam is emitted from that end.  On one of these that we have, the cap on the glass end was loose (most are hot-glued on), and we pulled that off and found a dim red beam emitted from that end as well.  We did not test for power or stability of these lasers. No other testing was done. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.
