    Description

    An ORIGINAL COMPLETE FRONT SAW GUIDE ASSEMBLY for a Stanley No. 358 "medium frame" cast iron mitre box by STANLEY. This assembly has a tapered base that is secured to the moveable arm of the mitre box by a large slotted screw that is included with the saw guide assembly. The rear saw guide has a different release mechanism from the front saw guide as it is triggered by lifting the saw rather than by the trip clamp fastened to the back of the saw. This example is excellent condition and it could be put directly to use restoring a Stanley No. 346, 348 or 358 mitre box, which both use the "medium frame" mitre box, which has a maximum mitre joint cut of 6 1/2" at 45 degrees.
