  • Condition: H. Disston Phila #7 Rip Saw - 4 1/2 TPI, 28" Rare Medallion Handsaw. Beech Handle w/ Brass Hardware in Very Good Condition, Both horns with minor chipping and filing; Lower horn section completely broke off with very early repair that looks like hide glue. Blade is 28" long X 7 1/4" wide at heel X 2 3/8" wide at toe. Blade has no dents or dings Blade is straight, very light rust and a few small spots of light pitting. Did not test for cutting; blade has been sharpened a few times and tooth line is not perfect. Stamped "Etch" of name Henry Disston heavily stricken and visible and legible; the #7 is very faint. Very nice example with rare H. Disston PHILA medallion.
