I am offering for sale this Good User Vintage 8 TPI Disston D-23 Lightweight Hand Saw Inv#PJ16
This vintage saw is in "as found" condition and it reads
Disston D-23 Lightweight
on the blade with a soiled but visible
etching.
It would clean up nicely. It has a refinished wheat pattern handle that shows wear, scratches, nicks & scars from use and toolbox. Medallion and hardware look good but need to be polished up.
The The saw overall measures 29"L The 8 TPI blade measures: 6" W at heel x 1-1/2" W at tip. Blade could use sharpening to get it back to optimal use. It has some pitting, rust & discoloration and dark spots but no dents or dings.
It weighs 1 lb 8 oz.
It has a great feel when in your hand and a nice patina.
