Eversharp Skyline Yellow Checker Cab - MIB

New old stock Eversharp Skyline fountain pen from 1995, including original box, paper, and diecast taxi. This Yellow Cab Special Edition is reminiscent of the Ford Taxicab, the same yellow with black checkerboard markings. It's from the same era as the original, wildly popular Eversharp Skyline fountain pen designed by Henry Dreyfus. Because it was released some 26 years ago, new examples often exceed the retail price of this pen in 1995, which was 0.00. It has a
very smooth, fancy scrolled 14 karat gold nib. The gold plated clip has the Eversharp double check symbol. The unusual converter system is accessed by unscrewing the base of the barrel, rather than the section.  It is very easy to use. The pen can also be used with Parker cartridges or Montblanc refills. The instructions and warranty sheet resemble the original 1940s version included with the old Skylines. I like the way the original Skylines look, but I really don't like lever-filling fountain pens. This is perfect, because you have the flexibility to use either prefilled ink cartridges or you own ink with the included converter.
