EVERSHARP HALF CORONET REPEATER MECH PENCIL, GF TRIM/CAP, GREEN SHELL, c1938

Description

Here's a distinctive  EVERSHARP HALF CORONET REPEATING MECHANICAL PENCIL from about 1938. The pencil has the very distinctive art deco styled clip and trim characteristics of the CORONET line produced  in the 30'S & 40'S. The clip has a curving V at the top  and extends almost to the cap ring.  Other distinctive decorative features on this piece are the advance button with reticulated  gold filled overlay and additional reticulation on the upper and lower portions of the gold filled top.  The advance mechanism is of the same type as the later SKYLINE repeaters and works well on this pencil to smoothly advance the .046" lead.  There is remaining original eraser, but it has hardened and could be replaced. The pencil upper portion is all gold filled and marked just below the advance button, EVERSHARP.  The barrel is in GREEN SHELL PYRALIN with a gold filled tip.  The gold filled upper portion is great shape with no brassing. Beautiful pencil that works well.
