Description
The Dewalt Model GP Radial Arm Saw is a large, industrial/professional tooldesigned for continuous use
. The saw and table weigh over 800lbs. Per the serial number this saw was made in the US in 1948. I would expect this saw to last another 73 years. It's in good working condition with cosmetics as can be expected with a machine of this age. Wiring is in good condition and was replaced in the past. The plug is new.
The only known problem with the saw is a slightly bent locking pin for the motor tilt function. It works but does need a good tug to release.
Blade is 14 inches, 2HP motor (220/110), currently set up for 220 with a new plug. L
ength of travel 20 inches, This saw can rip, cross-cut, miter, bevel and compound cut as well as cut rabbets and dadoes with the appropriate blades.
The original Dewalt factory manual can be found here:

If you can still find coveralls
made in the US
like those shown in the manual I'll knock off the price we settle on!
The saw is complete with the original Dewalt steel table.
I fitted the table with locking casters to allow it to be more easily moved.
Included is a 12 foot roller in-feed table made by Logan Conveyor. The in-feed table can be split to make shorter in and out-feed tables. A refurbished version of this saw is over ,000.
The table top is sacrificial and here are very detailed instructions online for making a complex cutting table top here:

and for a simpler but effective version here:

I do not have space for the saw anymore though I wish I could keep it! As the saw is both large and heavy, local pick-up is recommended. The table legs can be unbolted and the saw removed from the table but even lifting and removing the saw is a task for two strong people. I am happy to work with your shipper if you choose to have it shipped, risk will be the shippers once it leaves my premises.
