Dazzling Purple Carnival Glass Sugar Bowl w Handles or Vase Cherry Cable Mosser

Description

This is a stunning purple carnival glass sugar bowl. The glass is a clear dark purple. The heavy carnival finish radiates a brilliant rainbow with green, purple, blue and metallic gold, while letting the natural beauty of the glass shine through.
The lovely pattern is called Cherry and Cable or Cherry Thumbprint. It has large clusters of cherries and leafs hanging from a cable repeating around. Around the bottom is a row of indented circles or thumbprints.
This pattern was originally made by Northwood in the early 1900s and later by Fenton.
Has a short collar base and stands appx 4" high and is 6" across the handles with the actual opening 3-3/4" across.
New and in mint condition.
Hand made pressed glass.
