Dazzling Creamy Blue Carnival Glass Dove In The Rushes Whimsey Candy Bowl Mosser

This is an absolutely stunning Delphite Carnival Glass whimsey bowl in a Jack in the Pulpit shape.
The glass is a creamy blue milk glass. It's a little deeper blue than regular blue milk glass and is often referred to as Delphite Blue. The light carnival finish radiates a rainbow of warm spring colors - pink, purple, teal and even gold.
The lovely pattern is called Dove. It has a double pedestal - one is a log or branch and the other is a bird. The detail work is exceptional with long blades of grass coming up the sides of the bowl and tiny feathers on the bird. There is even grass under the bird on the wide foot!
Stands appx 7-1/4" at the tallest and is 6" across the widest. The actual bowl is just 3" deep. Makes a great candy and nut dish.
In mint condition.
Made for Harold Bennett Guernsey Glass and there is the Guernsey "B" mark somewhere on the log stump. (I have yet to find it!) Made in the 1990s by Mosser Glass of Cambridge Ohio.
An excellent example of hand made pressed glass.
