    Description

Antique WOOD & Cloth DRESSMAKER Form MANNEQUIN Has NICE CAST IRON Claw FOOT Base
Looks like an older one to me, has an oval wooden base with what looks like a hard paper-Mache like material used for the body, hard to tell as it still has most of the original cloth covering intact, but you can somewhat tell by looking at the worn areas around the neck.
This stand has actual cast iron wheels instead of newer wooden ones. Still rolls around quite well.
The 4 leg base looks like it should separate from the lower threaded section but its stuck on pretty tight and I don't want to damage it trying to un-screw it.
Pretty hard to find an original wood and paper Mache dress form in this nice of condition - check it out !!!
Has some light wear here and there from age and obvious use, but still in remarkable condition.
The mannequin torso separates quite easily from the cast iron stand and this will be done for easier shipping.
    I can't find any
maker or manufacturer's name but it may be marked internal.
Has been sitting in storage for years, may have originally come out of an old general store or mercantile shop.
Its a little on the creepy side too, I've had it standing in the corner of the living room, and at night, if your eye catches it just right it can kinda freak you out w
hen you catch a glimpse of it in the dark and you're not expecting it !!!
The form itself is not adjustable only the height can be adjusted up and down with the rod clamp.
Here are some dimensions I took:
    1. cloth covered m
    annequin
    female
torso is about 29-1/2 inches in length, wooden base is about 14-1/2 inches by 10 inches.
    2. iron rod is 3/8 inch diameter, the full length is 48 inches.
    3. cast iron base and lower stem is 26 inches in height, the cast iron claw foot base is 12 inches by 12 inches measured from the roller wheel mounting holes.
    4. full extended height of form is about 96 inches, fully collapsed height is about 60 inches.
NOTE: Because of it's size and to safely get it to your location, It will need to be shipped in 2 separate packages - the torso and cast iron stand
carefully packed and padded out inside one box, then, the 48 inch rod assembly in a 2nd cardboard sleeve tube/box.
Please inspect all detailed photos provided for size and condition as this is the exact item you will receive.
Everything in very good overall condition for its age, actually looks like it could still be used today, all cast iron castors rotate fully and wheels turn freely, some wear on the torso from use, all really minor, some light surface rust in places.
What a great antique dress form mannequin display for your dress shop or collection - way s
    teampunk cool !!!
