    Description

    The Medalian is recessed and reads "H. Disston. & Son. Philada" with a small a at the end of Philada.
    In the center is a keystone symbol.
    Looks like a Disston No. 7 or Disston No. 8 to me.
    This one was pretty well pitted so I decided to leave it mostly as found rather than go looking for an etch. I lightly sanded the plate just to knock off any loose rust. Same with the handle just a quick once over to clean it up. The teeth are pretty well worn. Not in the best of shape to cut anything but a beautiful saw with plenty of character nonetheless.
