  • Condition: Antique Disston 8" Backsaw with Born Bros. Chicago Etch 15 TPI Crosscut Handsaw. Apple Handle w/ Brass hardware in excellent condition. Blade is 8" long X 2 1/2" wide with 1 7/8" wide under spine. Blade has no dents or dings, is straight, with light rust and very little pitting. Blade is cutting straight and fast, a very light filing will optimize. Etch is visible and legible and strong, address prior to 1909 number changes. Stamped "Disston" etch on spine is strong. Exceptional small Disston shop saw.
