    Description

***I will be out of town from March 22-26. All items placed during this time will be shipped on Monday, March 29. I appreciate the understanding.
Extremely rare and highly valuable, 1920's Pierre Imans wax mannequin bust. Wax mannequins are getting harder and harder to find, as many didn't survive the years due to the fact of how fragile they are. This one is in exceptional condition, very well preserved, with beautiful brown glass eyes, porcelain teeth, and real human hair eyebrows. She also has beautiful purple eyeshadow and red lips, so lovely!
Not only are wax mannequins becoming harder and harder to find, she is a genuine original Pierre Imans, who was the quintessential designer of wax mannequins. Pierre modeled his mannequins on real life women who modeled for him, so this bust is the face of a ready lady who live in the 1920's! Such a wonderful glimpse to the past! This is definitely a museum piece and a real collector's item.
You can see the Pierre Imans logo, "P.Imans Paris," written in black on the right side of her base.
Pierre Imans mannequins have even earned a spot in the MET Museum! Here is what they say about then:

Made in France, this beauty was
    originally
meant to be a hat and wig display, which is why she also has a wax molded top/dress, and comes with her original white stand. Full body mannequins were usually made with no clothes as you were meant to dress them up to show off the latest fashion. Most of them haven't survived in full, and now only the torso and bust can be displayed. This makes her extra special as she is all original and ready to display. She doesn't have any hair attached, as again, she as meant to display wigs and hats.
*The wig I have placed on her head is for SHOW ONLY, as an idea of what you could do with her, and is NOT for sale. The 1920's snake necklace is for show only and is also not for sale.
This is a fantastic display for all you 1920's headwear and jewelry. Again, wax mannequins are extremely rare and highly sought after. Especially an Imans
    mannequin.
She does detach from her white stand--the peg is attached to the stand, which fits into the hole at her base. Due to this, you could possibly display her without the stand.
She is in amazing condition for her age. She has some discoloration due to age and a few minor scrapes throughout, mostly on her nose and back. There are a few very slim c
rack lines on the back of her base were the "P. Imans" logo is. There is also a few chip marks on the base, on the Paris part of the logo.
She also has a black dot on her left cheek, but I believe it is a dimple so this is intentional. Besides that, the only major wear is to the white stand. It has major scrapes and pain chipping. You could easily re-paint this and it would be good as new. See photos. Ebay only allows 12
photos, message me to see more.
    She measures
approximately 21" tall, 17" wide, and the stand measures about 10" tall.
PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING IS NOT FREE. Mannequins are extremely heavy and fragile, which means they will cost a lot of money to be shipped. I am fine with shipping her, even overseas, as long as you're fine with paying the shipping costs. You can message me for a quote before hand. I will also do free local pickup (I live in the Los Angeles area), so you are more than welcome to arrange that with me as well.
I have shipped two wax mannequins in the past, one to Germany and one locally. I take extreme caution and care when packaging these, and they have arrived all in tact but please be aware that due to the fragility of these, I
am not responsible for any damages that may occur in transit.
