    Description

    Offering a stunning set of eight porcelain, tea or chocolate cups with matching saucers by Jean Pouyat Limoges.
    Apart from the JP over L France, blue green stamp mark, the plates are also marked with the wreath run through with a pink ribbon and J Pouyat - Limoges inside the wreath in gold. This means the set was decorated in the factory by his own artisans. This also dates the set between 1890 and 1911.
    The gold rimmed saucers measure 5" in diameter. The edges are scalloped and inside each scalloped portion is a small bouquet of flowers.
    The gold rimmed cups measure 2 1/4" in height and have a mouth diameter of 2 3/8".
    This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains.
