1904 Wahl Gold Filled Lever Filler Fountain Pen with 14K Nib No. 2 Nib

Description

This is an Antique Wahl Gold-Filled Lever Filler Fountain Pen with a 14K Nib.  The pen is a short style size measuring approximately 3-7/8 inches long with the the cap on.  The engravings on the top rim of the cap are: 14 1/8 and PAT. JULY 5, 1904.  The nib is engraved with: WAHL, 2, 14K.  Since the Wahl name is not engraved on the case, we are assuming it is a Wahl due to the nib and selling it as is. The pen is personalized on the side with the capital letters: CEN, see the photos.
Condition: The nib is in good condition.  there is wear-through of the gold layer with some base metal exposed in three spots along the lower band.  Also some minor wear through along the cap upper rim. There is also a tiny dent in the cap upper rim.  There are minor scuffs and marks from age and use that may buff out.   The lever works fine, it opens and snaps shut tight.  The pen has not been refurbished and there is no ink in the pen.
Once I test the end with damp paper towel, I will update the color that was in the pen
